If you’ve set a goal for yourself, create a mantra to ensure your success! Here’s how:
- Write down what your goal is, and then how you will feel and look once you achieve it.
- Then write down what you will hear when you achieve it, such as, “Good job!” or people applauding.
- Next, write everything in the present tense. For example, “I exercised five times this week and I feel great! I look healthy and tone, and my family says, “Wow, you look great!”
- Repeat this mantra to yourself a couple of times a day, and program yourself to believe that you’ve already accomplished this goal so that you start acting like it.
